Ingredients:


For the Sushi Rice:

-  2 cups of sushi rice

- 2 1/4 cups of water

- 1/4 cup of rice vinegar

- 2 tablespoons of sugar

- 1 teaspoon of salt


For the Sushi Fillings:

- Fresh sushi-grade fish (like salmon, tuna, or yellowtail)

- Crunchy veggies (cucumber, avocado, carrots)

- Nori seaweed sheets

- Soy sauce

- Wasabi

- Pickled ginger

- Sesame seeds

- Bamboo sushi rolling mat

- Plastic wrap


Instructions:

Follow these instructions step by step to make mouth-watering sushi roll

1. Flawless Sushi Rice:

   - Rinse your sushi rice under cold water until it sparkles clean.

   - Cook the rice in a rice cooker, following the instructions.

   - While it's piping hot, move the rice into a roomy glass or wooden bowl.

   - In a separate bowl, blend rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.

   - Carefully fold the vinegar mix into the warm rice using a wooden spatula. You want the rice to shine and become a tad sticky.

   - Keep the rice moist by covering it with a damp cloth while you prep the rest.


2. Sushi Fillings:

   - Slice the fish into thin, inch-wide strips.

   - Cut the veggies into skinny matchsticks.

   - Place the nori sheets, shiny side down, on a bamboo sushi rolling mat wrapped in plastic wrap.


3. Roll Like a Pro:

   - Wet your hands to prevent rice stickiness.

   - Place plastic wrap over the nori.

   - Spread a thin layer of sushi rice on the nori, leaving about half an inch of nori untouched at the top.

   - Arrange your chosen fillings across the rice.


4. Roll It Up:

   - Use the bamboo mat to gently roll the sushi away from you, pressing lightly to shape it into a cylinder.

   - Dampen the exposed nori edge with a bit of water to seal the roll.

   - Continue rolling until you reach the exposed edge.

   - Lightly press the roll to secure it.

How much Salmon would be enough:

Sushi only required 1/2Ib salmon for 6 sushi rolls. It doesn't even cost half the price of sushi at restaurant. 

How to cut Salmon for sushi:

First of all cut straight down through the filet and then cut that piece in half through the center so you have a small strip. Make sure you’re using a sharp knife and gliding with one stroke, to get a nice clean cut.

Sushi rice:

Sushi rice should be the small length rice these are sticky, and avoid long length rice these are not sticky at all. Also spread rice over seaweed when it us little hot or at room temperature, it should not be cold. Mix you rice with vinegar and little bit of salt and sugar, for nice flavor.

How to fold sushi roll:

Take a bamboo sushi mat to wrap sushi. If you don't have bamboo sushi mat then use clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap but i will suggest to invest some money in bamboo sushi mat and buy it from amazon in very cheap price for the perfect sushi roll.

The answer is Yes. You can prepare sushi without using raw fish. Most of the people don't like raw food so they can prepare their sushi by cooking their fish. As you are making sushi at home so you can take advantage of it in whatever way you like.

Can i last my sushi overnight?

Thi is the most frequently asked question. The answer us No. You cannot last your sushi this long period of time as it has raw fish so the bacteria grow in it and it might cause illness. So enjoy your sushi fresh. Also don't keep you rice in refrigerator so it would not sticky anymore and wouldn't hearted nicely.
